I have been trying to find a doctor to work with me for 2 years. I know there is a problem and I think they know, but they don't know what to do about it. I have had an abnormal blood test regarding my pituitary gland, and was given an MRI, which indicated NOTHING. This is SO TYPICAL, yet not one doctor at University of Colorado knew this, they told me again that they didn't find anything and all my symptoms are just because of weight gain. Why isn't there ONE good neuro-endo in Denver? Because it's such a po-dunk town? I need help, have been looking for 2 years, and was told by my family doctor that when it comes to weight gain, NOBODY BELIEVES YOU! Yet, he doesn't even know who to send me to!
A pituitary tumor is best diagnosed with a simple blood test as many, many of them don't even show up with an MRI.....HELLO? and I'm just a patient!!
